A motorcyclist was killed Monday evening in a crash in Mundelein, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near Route 45 and Winchester Road, where police and firefighters responded and found the rider with fatal injuries, according to the Daily Herald.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released pending notification of family members, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
