This year the Hidden Gems Garden Walk will include 5 homes each with their own unique theme. Those attending will see examples of gardens that feature: A Perennial Vista, an Outdoor Haven, a Japanese Progressive Reveal, a Woodland Retreat, and a Cottage design of small garden rooms. Each of these thoughtfully planned gardens are works of passion, love and dedication.

Cynthia and Richard Hahn were inspired by their visits to China, and the Japanese gardens in Portland, Oregon when designing their own backyard retreat. Cynthia commented “We love different kinds of conifers, as they give us green throughout the Winter months. It’s always a work in progress; this is what be have learned over the years. “

The Libertyville Town and Country Garden Club is hosting the Garden Walk on Saturday June 29th, 2019 beginning at 10am and ending at 3pm. Proceeds from the Walk will go towards funding for Public plantings, the Libertyville Township Food Pantry, and a Scholarship for students enrolled in the Horticulture program at the College of Lake County. Tickets can be purchased for $15 on-line at TownCountryGardenClub.com, or in person (cash/check) at the Libertyville Village Hall and at How Impressive located at 326 N Milwaukee in Libertyville.
