Apartments, Restaurants Proposed For Liberty Theater Rehab Project

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Village Board will hear from developers looking to redevelop the shuttered Liberty Theater building in downtown Libertyville and build two new building on either side of it, according to the Daily Herald.

An informal session on the proposal will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at village hall, 118 W. Cook Avenue, and no votes on the project are planned at this time, according to village documents.

Site plans for the project include restaurants, rooftop dining and retail use in the main building while retail use, a community art exhibit area and apartments are proposed for the south building, according to the Daily Herald.
