Armed Robber Holds Up Pizza Hut: Police
The armed robbery occurred Monday evening in Gurnee.

GURNEE, IL — Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a Pizza Hut Monday evening in Gurnee. The armed robber entered the Pizza Hut, 5326 Route 132, just before 7 p.m. and demanded cash. He was carrying what appeared to be a black handgun, according to a news release from the Gurnee Police Department.
The man is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing and a mask at the time of the armed robbery.
He was last seen heading east on foot.
Some cash and other items of evidentiary value were discovered by responding officers who canvassed the area, police said.
