Batavia Native Will Compete for Love on 'The Bachelorette'
Architect Clint Arlis was chosen to star in the upcoming season of the series, which begins May 18.

A Batavia native and current Chicago resident will try to find love on this summer’s installment of The Bachelorette, according to the Daily Herald.
Clint Arlis, a 27-year-old architect, will appear on the ABC-TV reality series, which will begin airing May 18, his sister confirmed to the Daily Herald. Arlis graduated with high honors from Batavia High School and earned master’s degrees in architecture and civil engineering from the University of Illinois, the report stated. He currently works at the construction and development firm Lend Lease, the report added.
Taylor, Arlis’s 24-year-old sister, told the Daily Herald that friends and family encouraged her brother to audition for the show.
