Blaze Damages Libertyville Home
No one was injured in a fire that broke out Sunday night at a home on Prairie Ridge Court.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — No one was injured in a blaze that broke out Sunday night at a home in Libertyville.
The Libertyville Fire Department responded to the fire on Prairie Ridge Court at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the fire department. Fire crews found the source of the smoke to be coming from the walls around the home's fireplace.
In total, 15 fire departments responded and assisted the Libertyville Fire Department, and the fire was extinguished in less than 30 minutes, according to the news release.

Damage was contained to the area where the fire originated. No one was injured in the blaze, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
