Brewery Seeks Liquor License for Outdoor Vintage Market

The fall market, put on by Libertyville's Reclaimed Artisans, will be on Sept. 14. Bighead Brewing Company is hoping to serve beer there.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Village Board will vote on whether to allow a local brewing company to serve its beer at this year's Outdoor Vintage Market in September. Reclaimed Artisans, Inc., puts on the vintage market, which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, and Bighead Brewing Company is seeking a special event liquor license for the event, according to village documents.

The Libertyville Village Board will vote Tuesday on whether to approve this year's outdoor vintage market and the special event liquor license for Bighead Brewing. Mickey Finn's, a current liquor license holder, is also expected to serve Bloody Mary's and wine at the event and other local vendors will be serving up hamburgers, pizza, fresh coffee and donuts, according to village documents and Reclaimed Artisans Facebook event page.

The event is held in a private parking lot at 302 Peterson Road. There will be 80 vendors selling home decor, antiques, vintage items, handmade items and more, according to Reclaimed Artisans Facebook page.
