Call for Artists and Artisans: 38th Annual Festival of the Arts
Apply by April 30th for the Annual Festival of the Arts in Libertyville, IL
The David Adler Music and Arts Center announces a call for artists for the 38th Annual Festival of the Arts. The Festival of the Arts is a juried art fair, held in the historic Cook Park in downtown Libertyville, Illinois. With an emphasis on the visual arts, this family-friendly event will feature up to 75 artists, as well as live music, children’s activities, and artisan food vendors. Over 8,000 visitors from the tri-state area visit the Festival of the Arts each August.
“The Festival of the Arts brings downtown art flare to the suburbs with original artwork, live music, great food, and a youth art division,” says Adler Member Artist, Karen Altschul.
Applications for the Festival of the Arts will be accepted through April 30, and artists may visit www.adlercenter.org/attend/festival to access the online application pack. A youth art division is open to artists under 18 years of age.

About the David Adler Music and Arts Center: Celebrating 100 years of the Adler Estate, the David Adler Music and Arts Center is located in the historic home of architect David Adler and is dedicated to making music and the arts an integral part of everyday life. Its year-round activities are designed to foster engagement and achievement in the arts for the people of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
