Chicago Bears Wide Receiver Buys Libertyville Home For $1.2M
Luther Burden III has bought a luxury five-bedroom home in Libertyville.
Luther Burden III, a 22-year-old wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, paid $1.2 million in November for a five-bedroom, 4½-bathroom home in Libertyville.
Built in 2005, the house features high-end finishes, including 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors and a kitchen remodeled in 2022 with a six-burner Thermador range. The family room includes custom built-ins and a gas fireplace, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The primary suite, renovated in 2023, features two walk-in closets, a tray ceiling and an en-suite bathroom with heated floors, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower, the report said. Additional highlights include a finished basement with a gym, a first-floor office, a three-car garage and an outdoor brick paver patio with a built-in fire pit.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Burden was drafted by the Bears last year after playing at the University of Missouri. He appeared in 15 games during his rookie season.
