District 128’s Community Education Program will host an evening with radio broadcaster and author Harvey Wittenberg on Thursday, September 20 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, IL.

Wittenberg has spent 59 seasons as a broadcaster for the Chicago Blackhawks and is now in his 7th decade with the game. He is also the author of Tales from the Chicago Blackhawks Locker Room: A Collection of the Greatest Blackhawks Stories Ever Told, published in 2016. Join him to learn about how the game has evolved with rule changes, expansion, and how the team has made adjustments to become one of the most admired franchises in hockey, and respected among Chicago sports fans.
