Clucker's To Close Libertyville Restaurant, Expand To-Go Services
Clucker's has seen an increase in pick-up and delivery orders and is shifting its business model to keep up with that demand.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Clucker's Charcoal Chicken will be closing its downtown Libertyville location as the restaurant's owner shifts its operations to offer pick-up and delivery services.
The Libertyville Clucker's opened in 2015, and will close its doors at 536 N. Milwaukee Ave. on Jan. 29, according to the Daily Herald. Reed Merdinger, co-owner of Clucker's Charcoal Chicken, decided two years ago that the business will see the most growth in its to-go operations.
Clucker's plans to expand its catering services; has launched its "Cluck Truck," which will serve up food and events and farmers markets in the North Shore; and will continue to deliver to Libertyville and Vernon Hills from its full-service Clucker's in Highwood, according to the article. A Clucker's TO GO, which opened in 2021 in Wilmette, will also remain open.
