Cook Memorial Library Evacuated Following Bomb Threat: Police
Authorities have determined the bomb threat is not credible.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Authorities have determined a bomb threat reported at the Cook Memorial Library is not credible, police said Wednesday.
The Libertyville Police and Fire departments were called to the library at 413 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville at 5 p.m. Tuesday for the reported bomb threat. The library was evacuated before police and fire crews arrived, according to a news release from the police department.
The bomb threat was determined not to be credible, police said.

The library has reopened and returned to normal operations. An investigation into the bomb threat is ongoing, according to police.
