Couple Steals 2 Carts Full of Liquor from Jewel-Osco Store
The daring duo then fled the scene in a cab. They were arrested a month later in Lake Bluff for a "similar incident," police said.

A Lake Bluff man and Carol Stream woman loaded up two carts full of liquor and walked out of a Libertyville Jewel-Osco store in September without paying for the booze, police said. The two fled the scene but were later arrested in October for a similar incident in Lake Bluff.
Morgan J. Johnson, 28, of Carol Stream, and Casey V.G. Lamb, 34, of Lake Bluff stole the liquor from the Jewel-Osco at 1300 South Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville at about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 27, according to a Libertyville Police Department report. They loaded the liquor into an awaiting cab and when they were approached by Jewel employees, asking for their receipt, they fled the area.
The cab driver was able to help police identify the couple after he told them he picked them up at a motel in Waukegan.
