Date Set For Santa's Arrival To Libertyville, Holiday Tree Lighting

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Mark your calendar for the day after Thanksgiving. On Nov. 25, Libertyville will welcome Santa Claus to town and ring in the holiday season with the lighting of the Libertyville holiday tree.

The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m., with Mayor Donna Johnson introducing the Butterfield Chorus Club, Highland Middle School chorus and the Libertyville High School jazz band. The local students will provide the musical entertainment for the evening.

Santa will arrive at 7 p.m. to light the village tree. After the event, downtown businesses will remain open for holiday shopping after the event.
