The David Adler Music and Arts Center Announces New Classes for Spring

The David Adler Music and Arts Center announces a creative array of group art and music classes that begin this spring.

Pre-school children will enjoy Art Adventures an interactive mixed-media class, and Shake, Rattle & Roll—a music class full of games and instruments. Silly, musical, playful and fun, Shake, Rattle & Roll is a hands-on exploration of music. Children and their caregivers sing, dance, build and play rhythm instruments, learn folk and story songs, and participated in a special instrument petting zoo. Early childhood is the perfect time to introduce children to the world of music and art and to help them develop fundamental skills and a lifelong love for playing music and making art.

Older children will learn to paint, draw, and let their creativity run loose in Mixed Media classes, and our always popular watercolors class. In these classes, students have the opportunity to hone their observational and technical skills while creating colorful works of art. Paint watercolor birds and trees, make animal masks, and experiment with a variety of materials.

Adults can relax with the Adler Center’s popular Art and Wine workshops, or enroll in 6-weeks of art instruction in Watercolor. For those looking for step by step instruction, Paint-a-long classes offer step-by-step instruction. Each week, leave class with a new canvas.
