Driver Remains in Critical Condition Following ATV Crash
A 32-year-old man was thrown from his all-terrain vehicle early Saturday in unincorporated Antioch.

A 32-year-old man remained in critical condition Sunday following an ATV crash this weekend in unincorporated Antioch, the Daily Herald reports.
The crash occurred when two four-wheel, all-terrain vehicles were traveling east on West Grass Lake Road in the area of Lake Shore Drive around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. The 32-year-old driver lost control of his ATV. The ATV rolled and the driver was ejected, Lake County Sheriff’s Office Detective Christopher Covelli said in a press release.
The man was taken to Condell Hospital in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Technical Crash Investigations Unit. Sheriff’s Crash Investigators will determine if drugs, alcohol, or roadway conditions played a factor in the crash, Covelli said.
