Driver Faces DUI After Car Runs Into Snowbank: Police

The 22-year-old Grayslake man is accused of driving under the influence on Peterson Road early on Feb. 20.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 22-year-old Grayslake man faces a DUI charge after authorities found his car stuck in a snowbank in the median on Peterson Road, according to authorities.

Brennan Walsh, of the 1000 block of Hedgegrow Drive, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI BAC over .08 in connection with the Feb. 20 incident.

Police say they spotted Walsh's car stuck in the snowbank in the median on Peterson Road near Torrey Parkway at 3:07 a.m. They spoke with Walsh and took him into custody after noticing signs of his impairment and following field sobriety tests.

He was released on a personal recognizance bond, authorities said.

He is next expected in court on March 12.
