Drunk Man Cited For Kicking Fire Alarm in Parking Garage: Police
Libertyville police were called to the Church Street parking structure where they arrested the Grayslake man.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 27-year-old Grayslake man faces charges after police found him kicking a fire alarm pull station in a parking garage in Libertyville last week, authorities said. (Removed), of the 18000 block of West Valley Drive, has been charged with criminal damage to government-supported property and public intoxication in connection with the incident on Feb. 15. Police were initially called to the parking structure at 123 West Church Street at about 11:37 p.m. for an activated fire alarm, according to a Libertyville Police Department report.
There they found (removed) kicking the fire alarm pull station. They also smelled the “extreme odor of alcohol on his breath,” according to the police report.
(Removed) was arrested, taken to the Libertyville Police Department for processing and then transported to the Lake County Jail.
