Coroner IDs Elderly Man Hit, Killed by Snow Plow
The incident happened Monday morning in Libertyville.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — An elderly man killed after being hit by a snow plow in Libertyville Monday morning has been identified as Donald Anderson, 75, of Libertyville, authorities said. The collision occurred in the 600 block of Bridle Court in Libertyville at about 9:50 a.m. An autopsy revealed Anderson died from multiple traumatic injuries, Lake County Coroner Howard Cooper said Tuesday.
The 75-year-old man was using a snow blower in his driveway when the snow plow backed up and hit him, WGN TV is reporting.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the village snow plow has been placed on paid administrative leave and the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
