Electronic Game Design - Platform Games - Apprentice / Master (Grades 3 - 8)

Children learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math skills while having fun.

During the Electronic Game Design - Platform classes, students will use Multimedia Fusion 2® to create their own video game. A platform game is a side-scrolling, Mario-type game where students program characters and a two-dimensional obstacle course. They attempt to avoid or overcome enemies and reach an end goal on multiple levels. At the end of the class, students take home a copy of the game they create. No discounts or vouchers. Tuition: $155. Class meets Tuesdays from 6:00–7:30 PM on April 5‒May 10 at Libertyville High School. Registration is required. Register online through District 128’s Community Education Department at www.ComEd128.org, or call 847-247-4576 to register by phone.
