End of the Road(work): Milwaukee Avenue Resurfacing Could End Soon
The construction project that has tied up an 8-mile stretch of the street could be finished by early next month.

Resurfacing along an 8-mile stretch of Milwaukee Avenue running south from downtown Libertyville through Lake County could be finished soon, according to a Daily Herald report.
Roadwork has been going on in that area for the past three months, and the construction company responsible for the Libertyville stretch has asked the village to extend work time to overnight hours from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to finish paving, the report stated. Paving had been scheduled for Monday but couldn’t be done because work still needed to be completed on the concrete, the report added.
