Come to the Ryerson Woods Welcome Center and enjoy a day of award-winning short films about being green. Festival favorites like What's on Your Plate?, The Greening of Southie and What's the Economy for, Anyway? will be shown. Several recent films by Free Spirit Media students will be showcased by Jeff McCarter, executive director of Free Spirit Media. He will also discuss the challenges and power of documentary filmmaking.
Films appropriate for children ages 12 and older will be shown from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
The festival is sponsored by Friends of Ryerson Woods. Popcorn will be served. Advance registration is not necessary.
