Rides For Elders Benefit Car Show

Come to a great day of great cars, family fun, food and raffles/silent auctions benefiting older adults from across northern Lake County. The Car Show will feature a wide variety of cars from the classics up to the latest and greatest, DJ music, exhibitor tables and more.

Cars from across Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin will gather at Christ Church to be judged for trophies and raise funds for ElderCARE@Christ Church. DJ Music will be provided by the Mis Shifts Car Club and plenty of kids’ activities and family fun is in store.

Register in advance by going to www.eldercarelakecounty.org or calling Jill at 847-406 4683. Registration on-site the day of the show begins at 9:30 AM but we can only accommodate the first 100 vehicles. 18 trophies including best in class, best in show and director's choice. A silent auction and plenty of raffles await visitors and exhibitors.

ElderCARE is a non profit organization serving elders from across northern Lake County by providing transportation, shopping and companionship services. Over 90% of elders report that the services they receive contribute to their being able to live independently. ElderCARE serves 450+ elders annually. Over 1,000 escorted round trips to medical appointments and 5200+ hours of volunteer service provided each year.

 

Services are provided at no charge. This is the one major annual fund raiser to support the organization.
