Feedback Sought On Future Of Libertyville Parks

You can make your voice and take the village's online survey through March 30.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL –Libertyville residents are encouraged to take an online survey as village officials seek feedback on the future of the town's parks and recreation facilities. Residents have through March 30 to share their input. The feedback is sought as village officials work to put together the village's 10-year parks plan, according to the Libertyville Review.

A community open house regarding the parks plan was held on March 15. Residents told village officials they would like to see parks made more inviting for people of all ages, according to the Libertyville Review.

The newspaper reports:

Many residents at the workshop session advocated for the construction of outdoor pickleball courts. Other ideas included updating infrastructure at the parks, planting indigenous plants and flowers in open space areas and installing all-weather turf on some sports fields.
