Filleting and Deboning Fish

Daniel will demonstrate this skill, and they you can try it yourself.

Unless you are an angler, why would you fillet your own fish? Two reasons: better quality and lower price. Buying whole is the best way to determine freshness and get the most from your purchase. The instructor will demonstrate filleting, and deboning techniques. You will have a chance to try your own and cook your freshly filleted fish. Tuition: $45. Class meets on Monday from 7:00–9:00 PM on March 14 at Libertyville High School. Registration is required. Register online through District 128’s Community Education Department at www.ComEd128.org, or call 847-247-4576 to register by phone.
