First Fridays Return This Friday

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — First Fridays will be returning to downtown Libertyville this week.

The events are held the first Friday of every month starting in March and continuing through December. Downtown retailers will stay open late during First Fridays to offer special refreshments and promotions ,and Libertyville's Improv Playhouse Theater will have a live, stand-up comedy show starting at 8 p.m. on every First Friday, according to a news release.

There's also plenty of restaurants to check out while downtown, according to the MainStreet Libertyville news release.

There's free parking available in the two covered parking garages on Lake Street and Church Street, according to the news release.
