Footprints Showcase their Fierce Footwork and Welcome Guest Artists Lisa La Touche and Chicago Tap Theatre

Footprints Tap Ensemble of Talent Forum in Libertyville will be hosting their annual Tap Jam on Sunday November 19, 2017 at 4:30pm. The show will be at the Vernon Hills High School Auditorium. Footprints has a diverse repertoire that includes everything from classic Broadway tap to funky hip-hop tap. Footprints members enjoy their tap dance training at Talent Forum with Shelley Hoselton, Mark Yonally, Cait Jones-Seebacher, Becca Snow and other masters.

This year’s special guest artist is the fabulous Lisa La Touche, who has performed on Broadway in Shuffle Along, off Broadway and toured nationally in STOMP, as well as performing live at the 70th annual Tony Awards. Lisa was honored with the Fred Astaire award for her performance in Shuffle Along.

Chicago Tap Theatre appears in Footprints Tap Ensemble’s Tap Jam annually. Chicago Tap Theatre has been recognized as the “Best of 2016” in the following publications Windy City Times, Chicago Tribune, Dance Magazine, Chicago Sun Times, and seechicagodance.com. They recently finished up a tour in France and Spain with their production of Liaison.

Footprints Tap Ensemble is directed by the dancers themselves, whose ages range from 9 to 17. The organization is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of the great tap masters, educating others in the art and history of tap dance, and providing leadership and development opportunities to youth through tap dance production experience.
