Former Bears Players To Coach Carmel Catholic Football Team
Johnny Knox and Nathan Vasher are Carmel Catholic High School's new assistant football coaches.

MUNDELEIN, IL — Carmel Catholic High School's football team is getting two more coaches with NFL experience as two former Chicago Bears teammates are on board to be assistant coaches for the Corsairs. The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday that Johnny Knox and Nathan Vasher will serve under Carmel Football varsity head coach Blake Annen, who played with the Bears as a tight end in 2014.
Carmel Catholic posted the exciting news on Thursday afternoon to the school's Facebook page.
The news comes as the Bears welcomed more than 20 of their former players Tuesday to Halas Hall, which is not too far from Carmel, to watch minicamp practice and join in on a cookout with alumni.
