Free Health Screenings, Seminar At Advocate Condell

Event goers will be able to learn tons of info about the hospital and other health care-related topics.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — "People, not patients" said the Advocate Condell Medical Center in releasing information about a free health screening and information event they're holding on Friday.

There will be free health screenings at the event. Anybody attending can check their blood pressure, pulse oximetry, body composition and have a fall and balance assessment.

UnitedHealthcare will run a seminar called "Getting Started with Medicare" at both 9:30 and 11 a.m. Representatives from Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and UnitedHealthcare will be available to chat.

As for the hospital services, you'll be able to chat with representatives from seven separate departments in the hospital including the women's center and oncology, volunteer services, diabetes education and more.

The event's going from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Advocate Condell Medical Center at 801 S. Milawaukee Ave. in Libertyville.
