Come to the Fremont Township Community Garden, 22385 W. Route 60 in Mundelein and have a taste of the garden and connect with your community! Super Ambassadors from Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution will be visiting garden manager Alicia Dodd in the garden on Sunday July 24th from 10:30am-12:30pm during normal volunteering hours to help inspire YOU to grow, prepare and eat your beautiful raw garden produce. Our local Lake County Food Ambassador Lindsey Shifley will join forces with her visiting "Soffritto Sister", Terri Salminen, a fellow Super Ambassador and Chef from the Netherlands. They will prepare a few simple, delicious recipes for you to enjoy samples, share recipe ideas, learn new cooking tips and more than anything, connect with each other! All are welcome to this FREE event.

The Fremont Township Community Garden is a multi-functional garden space that provides produce to the township food pantry clients and low income seniors and provides opportunities for enjoyment and learning for the entire community.
