Green Living Fair - March 12, 2016
This year's focus is Food Waste; from obtaining food to the disposal of uneaten food. Plan to attend any of the 8 on-going speakers' forums.
Green Living Fair:
Planners of the 2016 invite you to attend the 6th Annual Green Living Fair on Saturday, March 12th -10am to 2pm at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St. in Libertyville. Admission is free. The Libertyville Civic Center Foundation co-sponsors the event with the founding group, Lake County Green Congregations/Clubs (LCGC). There will be a special focus this year Lowering Your Food-Print. Additionally, NEW this year will be 2- ongoing Speakers Forums addressing today’s environmental challenges. Topics include:

Living the Green Life:
Approximately 40 exhibitors including a variety of local environmental groups and youth clubs will share information about their organization or business, however, no goods or services will be sold directly at the fair. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about earth-healthy daily routines.
Recycling Opportunities:
Bikes, bike parts and Styrofoam blocks will be collected outside in the parking lot. CDs, DVDs, eyeglasses, Christmas lights, ink jet cartridges, hearing aids, cell phones, wine corks, batteries and gym shoes will be collected inside.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO collection of plastic bags (recycle at local merchants) or Electronics. (http://www.swalco.org/Collections/Electronics/Pages/default.aspx#).
