Lake Co. Sheriff's Office Seeks Donations for Toys for Tots

Submission by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office 

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the United States Marine Corp and several local law enforcement agencies to collect gifts for Toys for Tots. Sheriff Mark Curran stated, “You’re invited to join us in giving toys to needy children throughout Lake County. Toys for Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys that are suitable for children through the age of 16. Let’s fill the boxes Lake County!”

Beginning November 1, 2014 and ending December 21, 2014 new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at two locations.

Drop off locations:

• Lake County Sheriff’s Office, 25 S Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Waukegan
• Lake County Sheriff’s Office, 1301 N Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville

Please note Toys for Tots prefers not to accept realistic looking weapons or gifts of food.
