Libertyville-Area Musicians Sought For 'Day Of Music'
District 128 is organizing the 5 p.m. performances of 'America The Beautiful' throughout the community.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville High School District 128 will host a "Day of Music" on Friday. All local Libertyville musicians are invited to participate and perform America the Beautiful at 5 p.m.
Those interested in participating can: perform in your front or backyard, create an ensemble of your immediate family members and play for your neighbors and/or take a video of yourself or family playing and submit it for the village's virtual Memorial Day cermony this year.
"Let’s unite for our community and share the joy of music to demonstrate our support for our essential workers," according to the village of Libertyville e-mail newsletter.
