Libertyville Blotter: 4 Vehicle Burglaries At Business During Day

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Police Department made the following arrests and responded to various reports in recent weeks. Here is a look at some of those reports:
Aug. 3: The Libertyville Police Department received a report of four vehicles that had been burglarized at some point during the day on Aug. 3 while parked at a business in the 1800 block of Industrial Drive. Various items were taken from each vehicle. The Libertyville Police Department is investigating the reported burglaries.
August 4: A 33-year-old Palatine man was arrested on a warrant at about 8:50 a.m. on Aug. 4 after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a business parking lot in the 1600 block of Northwind Boulevard. Authorities say the complainant told police the driver got out of the car and walked away from the area. Officers learned the registered owner of the car had an active warrant out for his arrest and found him in the lobby of the Hampton Inn, 2060 Shell Drive, according to a report from the Libertyville Police Department. Armando Altamirano, of the 1300 block of Turtle Creek Road in Palatine, was taken into custody on the warrant and transported to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Aug. 5: A Libertyville Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on a car at about 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 5 at North Milwaukee Avenue and Church Street. Police say the officer observed the car hitting a curb and other traffic violations, and after she was pulled over, noticed multiples signs of impairment. April Narve, 34, was arrested based on the results of field sobriety tests, according to a report from the Libertyville Police Department. Narve, of the 4200 block of Hickory Hills Avenue, was taken to the Libertyville Police Department and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper turn, and operating an uninsured turn. She attended a remote bond hearing and was released after signing a $20,000 personal recognizance bond. She is next expected in court on Aug. 30.
