Libertyville Music Director Honored For 60 Years at Church
United Methodist Church in Libertyville will hold a special concert on Nov. 17 to honor Jim Grace.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — United Methodist Church in Libertyville will hold a special concert for Jim Grace on Nov. 17 to honor his 60 years in ministry. Grace began working for the church as the Cherub Choir Director in September 1959.
Over the years, he has "served in every music staff position at the church," according to a post on the church's Facebook page. He is currently the music director and organist for United Methodist Church of Libertyville.
The special concert will start at 4 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the church, 429 Brainerd Avenue in Libertyville.

The featured music will include the adult choir, heritage bells, and the men's quarter. Grace will also play a solo on the organ and an organ and piano duet with Jane Orth.
