Libertyville Named Among Safest Communities in Illinois

Libertyville has been named the tenth safest community in Illinois, according to the Movoto Real Estate Blog. 

Movoto used the FBI’s uniform crime report from 2012, specifically targeting the categories of murder, violent crimes, property crimes and total crime, to determine the rankings.

Residents in Libertyville have a very low chance of becoming a victim of any crime, according to Movoto.

“How low? Only 1 in 64, and even lower for violent crimes,” according to Movoto.

2. Village of Buffalo Grove

3. City of Geneva

4. Village of Bartlett

5. Village of Roselle

6. Village of Lisle

7. Village of Glen Ellyn

8. Village of Glenview

9. Village of New Lenox
