Orthopedic care in Libertyville is seeing changes in this new year as Gregory Caronis, M.D. joins the physicians of Advocate Medical Group Orthopedics.

Well-known in Lake County for nearly 20 years, Caronis is board-certified in disorders of the foot and ankle. His expertise is in foot reconstruction as well as the management of common foot and ankle problems in both adults and children. Caronis is one of the leading surgeons to perform total ankle replacement at Advocate Condell Medical Center.

Fracture and trauma care are another major part of Caronis' practice. He treats many of these injuries with casts and bracing rather than surgery but is highly trained in the most current surgical methods. His technical skill makes him an active and valued member of the Advocate Condell Medical Center Level 1 trauma team.
