Libertyville Police Blotter: Burglaries To Vehicles, DUI
The Libertyville Police Department responded to the following reports and made arrests in recent days.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL â The Libertyville Police Department responded to the following reports in recent days:
DUI
Jordan T. McGee, 33, of Mettawa, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He was driving a vehicle south on South Milwaukee Avenue near East Sunnyside Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. when he was pulled over. Police say he showed several signs of impairment and was taken into custody after he underwent field sobriety tests. McGee was released from custody after posting his driverâs license as bond and signing a $1,000 personal recognizance bond. He is next expected in court on Dec. 3.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Police responded to the Holiday Inn Express, 77 Buckley Road, on the morning of Oct. 26 for a report of a vehicle that had been burglarized at some point overnight while parked in the parking lot. Luggage, containing clothing and other items, was taken from the vehicle, which may have been unlocked.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Police responded on the morning of Oct. 26 to the parking lot of a condominium complex in the 200 block of Red Top Drive for a report of a vehicle that had been burglarized at some point during the overnight hours. A golf bag containing golf clubs and other golf related equipment was stolen. A neighbor reported seeing several people near the victimâs vehicle late the previous evening placing an item into a white sedan parked behind it. This incident is being investigated by the Libertyville Police Department Investigations Division.
