Libertyville Police Waives Overnight Parking Ban Through Holidays
Local residents will be allowed to park on village streets between 2-6 a.m. without any waivers beginning Thursday until 2 a.m. January 2.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville residents and visitors who otherwise would not be permitted to park on village streets during the overnight hours will get a reprieve after local police officials announced they are lifting the overnight ban through the holidays.
Libertyville Police announced in a social media post on Thursday that restrictions on overnight parking will be lifted beginning Thursday night. Vehicles will be allowed to park on local streets between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. through Sunday, Jan. 2.
No overnight parking waivers will be required during this period, the police department announced in the post. Parking enforcement will resume at 2 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3rd.
