Libertyville Pools Will Not Open This Summer
Due to COVID-19, the village's recreation programming and facility offerings will continue to be impacted into the foreseeable future.

Due to COVID-19, the Village’s recreation programming and facility offerings will continue to be impacted into the foreseeable future. We look forward to a future return to normal programming and Sports Complex operations! If you are entitled to a refund for a program cancellation or membership, you will automatically receive a refund via check to your address on-file and do not need to contact us to request it. Please allow us several weeks to process refunds.
Due to the uncertainty pertaining to the safety of public gatherings this summer, The Village of
Libertyville has made the decision to close its two pools (Adler and Riverside) for the 2020
season.

The health and safety of our patrons is our primary concern and the ability to provide a
safe environment during the COVID-19 pandemic is ever changing. If you purchased a pool
pass or enrolled in summer pool programming, you will receive a refund via check within the
next few weeks.

Other summer recreational programming may be limited and may include smaller group camps
with social distancing measures. These plans are conditioned on State and Federal
requirements related to COVID-19 social distancing measures being reduced by the end of
May, 2020.
The Libertyville Sports Complex remains closed. The facility hosts large gatherings and
sporting events with participants in close proximity to one another. The Village plans to keep
the facility closed until a safe environment can be maintained.
