Libertyville Tree Lighting In Cook Park Is Friday
Stop out to see the official lighting of the holiday tree in Cook Park and to meet Santa.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville will officially kick off the holiday season this Friday with the lighting of the tree in Cook Park.
Festivities will get underway at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 26 with music, singing and holiday-themed entertainment. There will be a countdown before the lighting of the tree at 7 p.m., and Santa will be on hand to help.
There will be a special area set up for photos with Santa and downtown merchants will plan to keep their businesses open late on Friday for attendees to stop out and shop at, according to MainStreet Libertyville.
