Libertyville Unveils New Playground Design For Adler Park
Construction is expected to start in spring with the new playground expected to be in place before summer.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Village officials asked and residents answered, picking their favorite design for a playground at Adler Park. BCI Burke Company prepared the design, which includes a pour-in-play rubber surface meandering path throughout the playground, numerous slides, a play area for both 2 to 5 year olds and 5 to 12 year olds, a saucer swing and a zip line.
There are also several climbing features and ground level music play options, according to a post on the village of Libertyville Facebook page. The project was also awarded a $91,005 grant to help offset the purchase of the equipment.
Village officials requested residents feedback in picking the playground design. Construction is expected to start in early spring and be completed in early May 2020.
