“It is the generous support of local businesses and organizations that allow special events in Libertyville to occur," said Heather Rowe, economic development manager in Libertyville. "That’s why it’s so important to shop locally.”
When area residents buy a vehicle along the Libertyville Mile of Cars, not only do the taxes paid help offset village services such as fire and police personnel, park improvements, and street maintenance, but jobs are created and community and school programs, sporting events, and other functions are supported, according to the news release.
“We join the dealerships of the Libertyville Mile of Cars in wishing everyone happy Independence Day," said Mario Murgado, member of the Libertyville Mile of Cars and new owner of Libertyville Honda. "We are thrilled to work together to bring the residents of the Village a fun filled 4th of July celebration.”
