Local Female Boxer Competing In Chicago Golden Gloves Finals

✨PRESS RELEASE✨

Isabella Crothers, 16 years old of Grayslake Central High School will be boxing in the Chicago Golden Gloves Finals at Cicero Stadium on April 13th, 2018. Isabella will be the 6th girl in 6 years to fight in the Chicago Golden Gloves Finals for Coach Larry Lentz of Conquer Fight Club located inside the Libertyville Sports Complex. No other boxing program in Lake County has had a winner in the Golden Gloves each year they have entered the tournament.

Former Zion HS 6’6” 225lb basketball and volleyball player Nehemiah Wilson is also representing Conquer in the finals the next day on Saturday April 14th in the super heavyweight division. The Chicago Golden Gloves has been around since 1923 and is one of Chicago’s oldest sporting traditions.
