Lunch In Park Starts Friday in Libertyville

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Libertyville vendors will be serving food at Cook Park.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL - From Main Street Libertyville: Mainstreet Libertyville's LUNCH IN THE PARK season begins this Friday, June 22!

Bring a blanket or lawn chair to downtown Libertyville’s picturesque Cook Park each Friday starting June 22 – Aug. 17. From 11 am – 2 pm Libertyville food vendors will be offering a variety of delectable treats including grilled sandwiches, Mexican specialties, pizza, kebobs, wraps, specialty salads and shaved ice treats. Whether you are meeting friends or “grab and go” on your lunch hour, it is an ideal way to enjoy a summer afternoon. Relax and enjoy easy listening music played by local bands. Kicking off the season is perennial favorite, Kevin Spica. Be sure to check the Main Street website www.mainstreetlibertyville.org for a complete list of bands and children’s entertainment.

Special children’s entertainment will be offered each week at the designated children’s tent in the Park. Animal Quest will be visiting with exotic and unusual animals. Each week there will be a raffle for a $25 MainStreet gift certificate, which can be used at any of the participating MainStreet businesses.
