Man Seriously Injured After He Falls From Tree: Officials

ALGONQUIN, IL — A man was critically injured when he fell 30 feet from a tree in Algonquin Wednesday afternoon.

The Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District was called to the scene of the fall at about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to a fire protection district press release. Paramedics found the man, who was about 40 years old, lying on the ground.

He was taken by helicopter to Advocate Condell Medical Center. The current condition of the man is not immediately available.
