Man With Ties To IL 'Victimizes' Women He Meets Online: Cops
A third woman has come forward, telling police she "fell unconscious" while with Timothy Olson, authorities said.
NORTHERN ILLINOIS — A man with ties to northern Illinois, who is accused of stealing from women he meets on dating apps, has targeted a third woman, authorities said Monday.
Authorities say Olson, who currently is wanted on a warrant, has been linked to another woman who "fell unconscious" while with him at a bar on Thursday, according to a news release from the Racine Police Department. Police say this is the third woman who has become unconscious while with Olson.
Olson, who has ties to northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin, meets the women he targets on dating apps. He "victimizes them," which results in them losing money, according to the news release.

He is currently wanted on five counts of felony personal ID theft - financial gain for incidents reported to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department. The Racine Police Department is also looking to talk with Olson regarding similar incidents.
Olson is described as being 52 years old, 6-foot, 3-inches tall and weighs 250 pounds. Police are asking any other women who have any information regarding Olson to contact the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit by calling 262-635-7756.
