Community Corner

Mine is a God of Second Chances

Join the Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist
Congregation
and John Broome for this worship service focused on how as a
Unitarian Universalist, the concept of God
/ god / Spirit of Life / Love / All
that is Sacred and Holy (or, to quote Garrison Keillor, "To
whom it may concern") can be evasive.  This sermon will be a
consideration of one potential characteristic of such a spiritual entity, the
capacity for allowing second chances.

Childcare is available for ages up
to 3 and children’s religious education for preschool through high school runs
concurrent to the adult service.

John is a life-long UU, having
participated in churches in Indianapolis, Muncie, Lafayette and South Bend,
Indiana, Madison, Wisconsin and Champaign-Urbana and Chicago, Illinois.
He is a former teacher and secondary school administrator who lives with his
wife, Rose, on the north side of Chicago.
