Description: John Dale of the Unitarian Universalist Partner Church Council will discuss the origins of Unitarian theology and our denominational history from its 16th century roosting in Eastern Europe to the current thriving moments in northeastern India and the Philippines, and why the global outreach with other liberal religions is an important element in fulfilling our 6th principle.
About the speaker: John Dale has been involved in the Unitarian Universalist Partner Church Council (UUPCC) since 2002, and became actively involved with their partner churches in Romania. For the past twelve years John has been employed by the UUPCC as the Director of their Pilgrimage Service. Since 2004 he has been living in TG-Mures/Marosvasarhely, Romania where he helps to facilitate the visits of North American UUs to their partners overseas.
For your children: childcare is available for ages up to 3 and children’s religious education for preschool through high school runs concurrent to the adult service.
