Mundelein Couple's Son Is First 2022 Baby at Condell Hospital
The boy, who was born at 2:44 a.m. Saturday, is yet to be named and is one of six babies born on Jan. 1 at Advocate Health hospitals.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL – A Mundelein couple welcomed a baby boy into the world to start off 2022 and became the first parents of an infant born in the new year at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Mother Rani and father Surendar have yet to name their new son, who was born at 2:44 a.m. Saturday, the hospital announced.
The boy, who has one sister, was born at 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 inches long.

The new baby boy was one of six babies born at Advocate hospitals to ring in 2022 with one baby, Kailani, was born right at midnight to a Portage Park couple at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital.
